Esplaiart is a trilingual educational project (Catalan, English and Spanish) aimed at energizing children’s free time during the summer via games, studio practice and activities – all with a particular emphasis on art. Our priority is based on the creative development of children, starting with their intuition, curiosity and freedom of expression. The time is divided into outside activities (in the Poblenou and Ciutadella parks, at the beach at Bogatell and on excursions) and studio activities indoors.

CALENDAR
Monday-Friday 9:00 - 16:00h
Morning activities 9:00 - 12:30h
Lunchtime 12.30 -13:00h
Relaxing activities in the evening, including free play, quiet zones, class activities, screen time
Afternoon activities 13.00 - 16:00h always offer a choice between two activities.
Nova Icária beach
Tuesday and Thursday, when the daily activity starts at Bogatell beach. During the beach days, the group will have lunch in the park at Poblenou. At 15:00h the group will return to the studio space to develop their projects.
Poblenou park
Monday and Thursday is when the starting point will be at Esplaiart where we will go for a walk to nearby parks to do play activities related to the theme of the week from 9:30 -11:30h. Between 11:30 and 12:30h we will return to the studio space to develop our project started in the morning.
Weekly excursion
​Will take place on Wednesday when there will be an outing in the city: Caixa Forum art space, Golondrinas boat rides, cable car at Montjuïc, Tibidabo amusement park, MNAC, etc. The principal aim of the excursions is for the children to discover iconic sites around the city. To simplify transport arrangements, well go directly to the metro station corresponding to the activity.
TEAM
Esplaiart is a project that includes cultural and educational program of the L&B gallery.
The team is comprised of two qualified school monitors.
For external activities, we also have one additional person.
For each of the studios we have specialist participants from different artistic disciplines.
